Caregiving As a Life-Calling

. I finished 40 years of restoring local churches and working in our communities in December 15/2015. I retired at 69 years of age. This decision was very hard for my wife Linda and I. I loved serving the Lord as a HOPE-GIVER through the Gospel of Jesus Christ in Ontario churches.

What I really loved too was spending time with the hospitalized, shut-ins, residents in retirement and nursing homes. I prepared manuals to train my leaders and congregations in Pastoral Care and built Care teams. This past 5 years I have offered my outreach care to nursing and retirement homes, the hospital and sick and dying.

Since Covid 19 started in March I have been making phone calls of inspiration to sick, lonely, hopeless people. I now am using Zoom for weekly meetings at institutions. This has been challenging for me at times, but I believe the Lord has blessed my outreach in this dark season. Thank you God, appreciate your reading.

Nightingales Arise, in the strength of the Lord,

Pastor Paul
